Founded in 2016 by Mathis Kolkoz and after releasing several works on Oráculo Records / Bordello A Parigi and some DJ sets around Europe, Blind

Delon raised to a multi-art project (3

musicians and a visual composition by

the french artist AFB).

With their heads and bags filled with

synthesizers from a time they weren't

even born, the band can be found today

between a record shop and a cave rave,

looking for an aesthetic that is nowhere

near dying.Post-Synthwave might be the best

words to qualify the project, as the music is a sort of breed between outrageous Pop and cold basslines.

Building a bridge between Pop and Rave music, Blind Delon is making a conventional yet romantic Post-Punk

sound.

Inspiriert vom kalten Wave und der Ekstase in den Tanztempeln der 80er Jahre, urbaner Elektronik und aktueller Licht- und Videokunst schaffen Rue Oberkampf seit Ende 2016 audiovisuelle Strukturen. Die in den Texten behandelten, von Verlorenheit und Reflexion geprägten Gefühlszustände finden ihren Einfluss in der französischen Literatur der Jahrhundertwende. Durch die Erfahrung als Szene-DJs und Anleihen aus der klassischen Musik und dem Electroclash

schaffen Rue Oberkampf szenenübergreifende Stücke zwischen Aufbau, Ausbruch und Ruhe. Nach ersten Tanzflächenfüllern wie Caméra und Congélation 2017 ist im März 2018 das Debutalbum Waveclash bei No Emb Blanc / Genetic Records erschienen.

Inspired by cold Wave and 80s dancefloor ecstasy, Urban Electro and contemporary light and video art, Rue Oberkampf have been creating audiovisual structures since the end of 2016. Their lyrics

address emotional states shaped by forlornness and contemplation and take their influence from French fin de siècle literature. Through their experience as DJs as well as through elements of classical music and Electroclash, Rue Oberkampf create pieces between buildup, rapture and tranquility, transcending genre boundaries. On the heels of their earlier floor fillers Caméra and Congélation of 2017, their debut album Waveclash was released by No Emb

Blanc / Genetic Records in march 2018.

Inspirés par le Wave froid et les danses extatiques du dance floor des années '80 ainsi que par le light art et vidéo art actuels, Rue Oberkampf créent des structures audio-visuelles depuis la fin 2016. Isolement et solitude, réflexion et contemplation, ce sont bien là les états d'âme qui ressortent de leurs textes influencés par la littérature française fin de siècle. Leur expérience de DJs et leurs emprunts à la musique classique et à l'Electroclash permettent à Rue Oberkampf de créer des morceaux mêlant genres et courants, se situant entre construction, éruption et calme contemplatif.Après leurs hymnes dancefloor tels que Caméra et Congélation, de 2017, Rue Oberkampf ont sorti leur premier album Waveclash chez No Emb Blanc / Genetic Records en mars 2018.
